Choosing to enter hospice care can often be a difficult decision. But the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are trying a new pilot to ease that choice. The pilot, of which Sivitz Jewish Hospice is a participant, would allow patients to continue treatment while also receiving the supportive services of hospice care.
