Caregiver Support Group

A Caregiver support group is a place where family caregivers are welcome to come and learn from one another, lend support to one another, and help each other through the stresses of caregiving. It is a confidential space for all issues regarding giving care to another person in your life. AgeWell Pittsburgh offers a group on a bimonthly basis. The group meets virtually  on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 1:30 – 3:00 pm and is a non-disease specific group (one of the few in Allegheny County), so caregivers dealing with any kind of diagnosis can attend. There is no cost associated with this program, which is affiliated with the Pittsburgh section of the Greater Pennsylvania chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
