Anathan Club offers a great opportunity for older adults with dementia to have a stimulating and fulfilling day while also giving their caregivers some much needed respite. The Anathan Club is our adult day program where members enjoy various forms of activities and entertainment, visits from several students of therapies, intergenerational programming, and outings to many different places. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided, allowing the members to enjoy their meals in a social environment. A flexible schedule is available with members being able to attend anywhere between 2 and 5 days a week. Medication can be provided during the day and both toileting and bathing services are available on site. Volunteers are there on a daily basis assisting the staff in providing excellent care.
Anathan Club runs every day from Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Services can be covered by private pay, long term care insurance, or as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging Waiver for community services (if Medical Assistance qualified).
The staff of Anathan Club has been trained in the Hearthstone “I’m Still Here” approach, which improves the quality of life of people with dementia and their caregivers.
