Most older adults wish to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. The Caregiver Connection is one way to ensure that seniors can do just that and do it safely. The Caregiver Connection provides a network of experienced caregivers for adults who require assistance to live comfortably and independently. Our fully screened and trained caregivers are independent contractors who provide services that ease the difficulties brought on by advanced age, recuperation after an illness or surgery, and the challenges of managing special needs. The staff of Caregiver Connection matches clients with caregivers to ensure the best service is provided. Staff is on-call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to make sure that all of our clients receive the help that they need to remain safe and content. There are hourly administrative fees based on the number of caregiving hours per day, but the costs of the service are lower than most agencies.
All of our caregivers need to have a resume and 3 letters of reference (which are all checked), a completed application, and a 2 step TB test. Additionally, we run background checks on all applicants and interview them. Only once all of these steps have been successfully passed will a caregiver be placed on our registry. Additionally, many of the independent contractors have chosen to be drug screened and carry liability insurance. So everyone is well protected.
