Home safety is critical to a healthy living environment. We offer a number of safety services including:

Elder Alert

Elder Alert is a Personal Emergency Response System that links individuals to a local response center. A fall or some other emergency can happen at any time.  Elder Alert is there for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you need help, simply press the personal help button on your neck/wrist band, and our response team will get you the help you need right away.

In-Home Safety

Safety for Seniors provides free, in-home safety checks aimed at preventing accidents and fires in the homes of elderly Allegheny County residents.

Jewish Family & Children's Service of Pittsburgh provides home-safety evaluations on a referral basis.

Jewish Association on Aging offers home-safety evaluations when doing discharge planning for nursing home residents.
